Inca Quarry Trek is one of the newest trekking in Cusco

Based around the area around Ollantaytambo, the Inca Quarry trek takes you on a journey past high waterfalls, Inca ruins and stunning scenery. The overall distance hiked on this trek is 27 km the maximum altitude reached is 4,420 meters above sea level. As permits are not required for this trek, there are no restrictions as when you book your trip. Freedom is best, right? The hike will arrive to the Incan Ollantaytambo archeological village and ruins, where you will catch the train to Machu Picchu. On the last day you will visit the mysterious ¨Lost City of the Incas¨, better known as Machu Picchu. Trek to Choquequirao

Our Trek to Choquequirao includes a visit to the Archaeological Site of Choquequirao Cradle of Gold in Quechua; is also considered as the other Machu Picchu. Choquequirao sits in the saddle of a high Andean ridge 3050m above sea level and 1500m above the roaring waters of the Apurimac River. This spectacular and challenging trek brings us to the breathtaking ruins of Choquequirao, with its mysterious square and shrines, and onward across the entire Vilcabamba range through deep-cut canyons and over high passes, as well as lots of Andean flora and fauna, with this trek there's a chance to see the flight of the Condors.

Choquequirao & Machu Picchu Trek 8 Days

Visit two archaeological sites; Choquequirao and Machu Picchu Trekking

Approximately 83 kilometers that you walk through this trekking; you will walk along the Apurimac river canyon and into the remains of Choquequirao, via the Cordillera Vilcabamba until you finally arrive at the southern edge of Machu Picchu. At first, we will visit Choquequirao’s amazing and recently reinstated Inca citadel, resting on Apurimac Canyon’s edge. We then navigate the Vilcabamba Mountains, trekking above the panoramic passes, from where we can see the gorges, the community life, the ancient terracing and the stunning mountain landscape with huge ice flutes, rock formations and glaciers scattered with crossing streams, cultivated valleys and cloud forests. Lastly, we trek into the cloud forest and the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. This is an ideal program for people wanting to enjoy a blend of mountains and archaeology.

Rainbow Mountain Hiking

The Rainbow Mountain, officially named Vinicunca is a stunning and a bucket list destination for many. This colorful mountain, seen from high above, is magical with its geological formations revealing their entire splendor, in contrast with the blue sky set behind it.
