Day 1
Arrival to Cusco
- Cusco Airport Transfer: Arrival in Cusco, assistance at the airport and transport to your hotel.
- The rest of the morning is free to rest in order to avoid ill effects due to the high altitude.
- Spend the rest of the day relaxing and exploring this fascinating city.

Day 2
Horseback riding tour - San Pedro Market and Inka Museum
- Breakfast at hotel, pick up from the hotel at 08:30am and you will be driven a 20-minute scenic distance to Sacsayhuaman archeological complex, a masterpiece of Incan architecture in which you will see mindboggling huge stone blocks, almost 9 meters in height, placed perfectly. Next is the Qenqo temple, dedicated to animal worship. Then, Puca Pucara, another Incan archeological site located on top of a hill and used as a fort and administrative center. Last, there is Tambomachay, a place also known as the Inca Baths. Then we back to Qenqo you can leave your horse there and return to the hotel in Cusco in private transport.
- Lunch in a restaurant in the main square.
- Walking tour will begin at San Pedro local market; the guide will inform you about the market´s history as you wander through the narrow aisles laden with colorful fabrics, local produce, shaman stalls and flower vendors. This way you will get to see the lifestyle of the locals!
- Later, we will move on to Inka Museum which is a remarkable museum housing Incan mummies, artifacts and relics. Here you will get to learn about the Andean culture and the Pre-Incan civilizations while roaming around the museum and learning through the collections and exhibits that are showcased there. The collections include an array of ancient jewelry, metalwork, textiles, pottery and clothing.

Day 3
Visit Andean School Education Project - Pisac market and ruins
- Breakfast at hotel, pick up from the hotel at 08:00am we then will then embark on a journey back in time to the Incan´s Sacred Valley beginning in Pisac.
- Today you will visit the Kusi Kawsay Andean School Project, you will have the opportunity to learn about Andean Cosmo vision and get a taste of how this school promoting and teaching traditional values, ayni (reciprocity), peace and stewardship for Pachamama (Mother earth).
- Tour of Kusi Kawsay with founding member learn how to Andean Cosmo vision and work Waldorf pedagogy together to create a school rooted in tradition and educating leaders of the future. Observe the children's work including traditional craft.
- Opportunity to support the school through the purchase of traditional crafts created by parents. Then share a traditional music together with the students.
- Lunch at local restaurant at Sacred Valley.
- After lunch you will visit the Pisac ancient Incan archeological site and city is located on the top of a mountain. There you will have the chance to firsthand witness the impressive stonemasonry skill of our ancient ancestors.
- Afterwards, you will go down into the quaint little town and wander through its colorful market where you can buy intricate, beautifully crafted locally hand-made products. Back to Cusco.

Day 4
Visit an Andean Community – Mountain Biking at Sacred Valley
- Breakfast at hotel; pick up from the hotel at 08:30am and transfer to Chinchero area.
- Today we have the opportunity to visit the community of Taucca populated by 20 families and located at an elevation of 3,850 meters. From that height, you will have a most incredible view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the surrounding landscape, and snowcapped mountains.
- The villagers will share with you their traditional Andean way of life through different activities you can engage in, like weaving demonstrations, plowing with Andean tools, etc. In addition, you will see them spin and dye wool thread using natural dyes as well as weave fabric following their ancient techniques. Then we move to Cruzpata.
- Cycling tour will begin in Cruzpata, following a trail that leads to Huaypo Lagoon and to the Incan botanical laboratory at Moray. Moray area is so large that at least 3000 plant varieties, such as corn and potatoes, could be harvested there. Lunch at Moray site.
- We will then peddle to the town of Maras where we will visit the biggest salt pans in the region that have been continuously mined dating back to the Incan Empire.
- After this brief rest, it’s all downhill for about 30 minutes until you reach Pichingoto.
- This enjoyable ride will end once you cross the bridge over the Urubamba River.

Day 5
Inca Trail: Km 104 – Wiñayhuayna – Sun Gate - Aguas Calientes
- Breakfast at Hotel; at 07:00am you have to move to Ollantaytambo to catch the train that will take you to KM 104 head of the short Inca Trail where you will meet your guide.
- We start by visiting the Chachabamba archaeological site (2,170m/7,119ft) here you can quickly take in the beautiful fountains as we begin the 5 hour climb to the Inca Trail. This route will have you enjoying the most magnificent views of the great valley and beautiful waterfall which is in the vicinity of the splendid Wiñayhuayna Archaeological Site (2,700m/8,858ft), which means “Forever Young”.
- Upon reaching the Inca Trail we continue through slim paths surrounded by lush vegetation made up of broad-leaf plants and huge ferns. The steep mountain precipice adds to the excitement. All of a sudden the stone threshold of the Inti Punku or Sun Gate (2,670m/8,759 ft) materializes along your path and you face truly memorable scenery; a blend of natural beauty and man’s creativity in the form of the enchanting city of Machu Picchu framed by spiraling canyons and forested peaks. The final 45 minutes are spent walking down the royal flagstone pathway into Machu Picchu’s core.
- The first day ends at a local hostel in Aguas Calientes (2,050m/6,726ft) located at the base of Machu Picchu Mountain, take 30 minutes bus down.
- Overnight at the Hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Day 6
Visit to the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu & Back to Cusco
- Breakfast at the hotel; at 06:00am you will ride a bus to Machu Picchu archeological site (2,430m/7,972ft) declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007, the hilltop citadel deserved every bit of its fame.
- Around 07:30am the guided tour begins, the guide will expertly direct you throughout the astounding ruins and its main streets. You can then wander around the town squares as well as climb the intricately carved stairways made of stone. Machu Picchu is considered to be the world’s spiritual center by esoteric wisdom. The guided tour takes around two hours.
- From 10:30am to 12:30pm once the guided tour is over, you will have some free time to explore the citadel on your own.
- From 12:30pm to 13:30pm take bus to Aguas Calientes.
- From 13:30pm to 15:00pm take lunch in Aguas Calientes.
- Return to Cusco: later board the train for the return trip to Cusco. You will stop at the Ollantaytambo station and then be picked up and driven to your hotel in Cusco.
