![]() Day 01 - International Arrival in LimaAssistance at your arrival to Lima International airport and transfer to your hotel, there you will receive a briefing on your tour and vouchers covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organization of your Peru trip. Meals Included: None Day 02 - Lima / Sightseeing TourMorning free to relax; we recommend you to take a long rest and be prepared to begin with this unforgettable journey through our wonderful country. Lunch on your own Pick up from the Hotel at 14:15, guided sightseeing tour to the most attractive and important sites in Lima, the "City of Kings". This excursion offers the best combination of the different attractions in Lima and its three historical periods: pre-Hispanic, colonial and contemporary. In Lima, there were several different pre-Columbian cultures which are dated thousands of years back. Day 03 - Flight to Cusco / Sightseeing TourBreakfast at your hotel; transfer to Lima airport for your flight to Cusco, upon arrival reception, assistance and transfer to the hotel, free morning to get acclimatized At 13:30 pick up from the Hotel; guided sightseeing tour in Cusco like Q'oricancha temple of Sun the most important shrines during the Incas time. Visit the Cathedral the most imposing church at the main square. The tour keeps going to Sacsayhuaman, this site is a megalithic work made by the Incas; it stands on a hill looming over the city to the north-yet even these enormous stones are filled with that extraordinary Inca perfection. The next sightseeing is named Q'enqo, it shows a singular limestone outcrop, which was used to religious cult. The tour finishes visiting Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Day 04 - Cusco / Sacred Valley / OllantaytamboBreakfast at your hotel; this tour is a full day visit to the impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas, covering the visit Pisaq and Ollantaytambo archaeological sites. The first visit at the village of Qorao where is possible to take beautiful pictures of the landscapes from a lookout site. The next visiting is Pisaq (archaeological site and Indian market). Lunch at the Sacred Valley, after lunch, visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley, and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes in the Lower jungle. Day 05 – Ollantaytambo / Km 82 / WayllabambaBreakfast at your hotel; Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu 4 day, pick up from your Hotel at 07:00 drive to Km 82 which is the starting point of the Inca Trail. We begin our hike by crossing the bridge over the Urubamba River and walking along its left shore as it flows northwest. Following the trail along a flat terrain, we arrive in Miskay (2800m/9184ft), to then ascend and finally see, from the tallest part of an overlook, the impressive Inca city of Llactapata (2650m/8692ft). We continue trekking along the valley created by the Kusichaca River, gradually climbing for about five hours until we reach the community of Wayllabamba (3000m/9840ft), where we set our first camp. Total distance: 12 km (7, 47 miles) Estimated walking time: 5-6 hours Maximum altitude point: 3,000 m (9,840 ft) Day 06 – Wayllabamba / PacaymayuBreakfast early morning; we begin the most difficult part of the trek, which consists of an abrupt and steep ascent that stretches for 9 km along this climb. On the way to the first mountain pass, the Abra Warmihuañusca (Dead Woman´s Pass – 4200m/13776ft), we may see domesticated llamas and alpacas grazing on ichu, one of the few plants that grow at high altitude. We also cross an area of the so called cloud forest, which is the habitat for many different kinds of birds like hummingbirds and sparrows, and the Andean bear. We advise that on this day specially, your daypack is well stocked with candies, chocolates and coca leaves that will keep your sugar level high, and help with altitude sickness. After the pass, we descend into the Pacaymayu valley (3600m/11808ft), where we camp. Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Day 07 – Pacaymayu / Wiñay WaynaAfter breakfast; we ascend again past the small Inca site of Runkuracay (3970m/13022ft). As we reach the second pass, the landscape opens onto spectacular new views to the snow peaks of the Pumasillo range. Then we descend towards Yanacocha and enter the cloud forest to finally arrive at Sayacmarca (3624m/11887ft). This is a beautiful complex made up of a semicircular construction, enclosures at different levels, narrow streets, liturgical fountains, patios and irrigation canals. Continuing up an easy climb to the third pass Abra Phuyupatamarca (3700m/12136ft), we go through an Inca tunnel to later arrive at the aforementioned pass and down to the complex of the same name. Continue our trek down the long descending stone steps that lead us to Wiñaywayna (2650m/8692ft), an impressive Inca complex made up of an agricultural center with numerous terraces, a religious sector and an urban sector, close to which our camp is located. Total distance: 16 km (9, 94 miles) Estimated walking time: 8 hours Maximum altitude point: 3,900 m (12,792 ft) Day 08 – Wiñay wayna / Machu PicchuBreakfast very early; we wake up at 04:00 an hour later and climb to the Inti Punku (Sun Gate) from this fabulous spot, we may see the sunrise over the sacred citadel of Machu Picchu 2,400 m (7,872 ft). From here we descend into Machu Picchu, 40 minutes later we enter the citadel from the highest point through the “House of the Guardians”. We then descend to the control point where we register ourselves and leave our backpacks. We immediately begin a complete guided tour of the Inca citadel that will take approximately two hours. You will then have free time to walk around, climb the Wayna Picchu Mountain, where one can experience spectacular views of all of Machu Picchu, the valleys and mountains that surround it, or visit the Temple of the Moon or the impressive Inca Bridge. In the afternoon, we meet in the town of Aguas Calientes where we take the train back to the city of Cusco and transfer to your hotel Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

Beautiful scenery all along the way, visit of the Raqchi and archeological sites as well as Andahuaylillas village and its famous "Sixteen Chapel" that was built in the middle of the 17th century. Lunch in Sicuani Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch Day 10 - Lake Titicaca / Uros Floating Island and Overnight in AmantaniBreakfast at your hotel; Lake Titicaca 2 Day/1 night pick up from your Hotel take a two-hour motor boat excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique Floating "Islands" of the Uros. These ancient inhabitants of the lake, known as the Water Tribe, have built their own "islands" by periodically adding new layers of a type of reed unique to the area called "Totora". Their homes and boats are also made from this material. Continue the motor boat trip to Amantani Island. This island is inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives still governed by their ancient traditions, whose main occupations are the production of ceramics and textiles. Lunch at Amantani, overnight at the house of a local islander to enjoy the hospitality of a typical Amantani home Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Day 11 - Lake Titicaca / Taquile IslandBreakfast at your familiar house; you have time to stroll at leisure through the quaint streets of this colourful island. Late morning, take a motor-boat to Taquile Island, also inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed efficient and unique social systems, as well as fine hand weaving techniques, down through the generations. It is necessary to go up a stairway of more than 567 steps - streaks of stone that wind their way among greenery platforms - to arrive at the town of Taquile. Lunch at Taquile, and then take a walk through the various hills and archaeological sites of this 6km long island. Back to Puno and overnight. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch Day 12 - Depart Puno / Lima International departureBreakfast at your hotel; transfer to the airport for departure flight to Lima and then take your connecting flight at home. On the way to Juliaca Airport, visit the famous Chullpas of Sillustani, 12 m/40ft high stone cylinder burial chambers, used by the Aymaras to bury their important leaders. Lake Umayo, located in front of the Chullpas, adds further beauty to the place. Here you also have the opportunity to observe wild guinea pigs, birds and other local wildlife. Meals Included: None |
