Day 01: Lima - Cusco
Arrival, reception at Velasco Astete Airport and transfer
to your Hotel Lodging, free morning to get acclimatized.
At 13.30 In the afternoon , City Tour in Cusco walking to
the Cathedral which its interior and exterior frontage is
renacentist style. Inside, you will find beautiful cedar wood
statues, like the chorus and the pulpit, as well as the paintings
of the Cusco School, and some objects made on silver. You
will also visit Koricancha or sun temple; nowadays is the
Santo Domingo Church. Then you will go to the four surrounding
ruins like the Sacsayhuaman fortress, Quenqo, Puca-Pucará
and Tambomachay.
Return to hotel

Day 02: Sacred Valley of the Incas
Full-day excursion to the "Sacred Valley of the Incas",
by the Vilcanota River. We will have the opportunity to share
closely the peasants' customs and bargain with vendors at
the typical indian market of Pisac, held on Tuesdays, Thursdays
and Sundays. Lunch in a local countryside restaurant. After
lunch, passing through the Towns of Calca and Urubamba, we
visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built
to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley, and protect
it from possible invasion from the tribes in the Lower jungle.
The Fortress consists of a series of stepped carved stone
terraces accessed by long staircases. Later on you can walk
through the quaint streets of the nearby Town, and get a good
idea of what this Strategic Military, Religious, and Agricultural
Centre was like during the era of the Inca Empire. (Lunch
Included).

Day 03: Machupicchu full day
Full day excursion to Machu Picchu archeological complex,
located in a subtropical Cusco area at 2,350 m.a.s.l. At 5:30
am you will leave the hotel, with a pack lunch to the train
which leaves at 6:00 am. Travel is in "Vistadome"
Class (formerly "Autowagon") or Backpacker Class,
the best there is. At 9:40 a.m., you will arrive at the Aguas
Calientes Station, from where you take a 25 minute bus ride
to the ruins of Machu Picchu known as "The Lost City
of the Incas", one of the most renowned examples of surviving
Inca architecture. Upon arrival, you will participate in a
guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular
Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple
of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. You will
know the marvelous Machu Picchu Citadel where you will walk
trough its squares, temples, terraces, worship centers and
its Royal Palace. You will also the Intiwatana or Solar Clock
and several beautiful natural water fountains on rock carved.
In the afternoon return to Cusco by train.
Reception and transfer to your hotel.

Day 04: Cusco - Lima
Breakfast. At required time, transfer from hotel to the airport
to your departure to Lima or (

Maldonado-Tambopata) Arrival and transfer to your hotel
(in Lima).
