More than 23000 km of trails were built by Incas in South
America. A great part constitutes the trekking trail the most
spectacular in the Americas. One of these extraordinary routes,
from the Salkantay, leads us to the Inca citadel of Machu
Picchu located at the mountainous forests of Cusco. Walk on
the Salcantay & the Inca Trail an unforgettable experience
Day 01: Lima reception.
Arrive in Lima at any time. Free time for meals.
Day 02: Flight Lima/Cusco & City Tour.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival
at the airport a host will meet and assist you in transferring
to the hotel. In the afternoon, City Tour in Cusco walking
to the Cathedral, then you will go to the four surrounding
ruins like the Sacsayhuaman fortress, Qenqo, Puca-Pucara and
Tambomachay. Return to hotel

Day 03: Sacred Valley of the Incas
Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Inca, visit
typical indian market of Pisac, we visit the Inca Fortress
and Citadel of Ollantaytambo. Free time for dinner
Salcantay Trek & Inca Trail to Machupicchu 4 days
Day 04: Cusco - Mollepata - Soraypampa - Salkantaypampa
Transfer from your hotel in Cusco (3280m) direction the little
village of Mollepata (3000m), place where we’ll start
our hike on the Inca Trail. The campsite is called Salkantaypampa
and it’s situated at 3800meters. We’ll be hiking
about 6 hours in a rather cold climate. (L+D)
Day 05: Salkantaypampa – Paso Salkantay –
Sisay Pampa
The colder morning-temperatures will be excellent to ascend
to the highest and toughest part of this trek, in the snow
over the Salkantay-pass (5200m). Our hiking-time will be
about 7 hours in a cold climate. Where we make camp (B+L+D)
Day 06: Sisay Pampa – Canal Inca –
Wayllabamba
We will have to hike down by Incan canals and original paths
in order to enter Wayllabamba (3000m). There we’ll
have our connection over the Inca trail to our campsite
(B+L+D)
Day 07: Wayllabamba to Pacaymayo
We climb the steep-sided Llullucha valley past a rushing
stream and through enchanted native polylepis woodland;
we ascend to the first and highest pass, Warmiwañusca
(4,200m/13,776ft). The trail to the floor of the forested
Pacaymayo valley, where we make camp (B+L+D)
Day 08: Pacaymayo – Wiñay Wayna
We pick up an Inca stairway and ascend again past the small
Inca site of Runkuracay. We begin a long descent through
ever-changing layers of cloud forest. An Inca stairway partly
cut from living granite leads us finally to our camp by
the ruins of Wiñay Wayna. (B+L+D)
Day 09: Wiñaywayna to Machupicchu.
Very early we leave camp to reach Inti Punku in time for
sunrise. From here we get the first glance of Machu Picchu.
In the afternoon we meet in Aguas Calientes to take the
train back to Cusco. (B).

Day 10: Free time in Cusco
Free time in Cusco, final day in Cusco. You will be on your
own today.

Day 11: Flight to Lima & City Tour
Transfer to the Cusco airport for a flight to the Peruvian
capital, reception at the airport and transfer to the Hotel.
In the afternoon we visit the Lima City. You'll visit the
old colonial streets in the centre of the city, back to
the hotel. Free time for meals
Day 12: Flight at home
Transfer from hotel to the airport for your flight to Lima
and then take your connecting flight to home.
