A
perfect journey that combines archaeology and great adventure,
deep into the rainforest. This trip will take you to discover
the wonders of Machu Picchu, a sacred citadel hidden in the
rainforest. Enjoy the Ancient Inca Capital of Cusco with its
magnificent Inca palaces, such as the Qoricancha gold temple
and the fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Visit the Sacred Valley
of the Incas , with its picturesque Andean Market at the village
of Pisaq. Finally fly to Jungle and visit the Reserve of Tambopata,
a green world with gigantic trees, beautiful lagoons, winding
rivers and wonderful wildlife.
Day 01: Lima reception.
Arrive in Lima at any time. Free time for meals.

Day 02: Flight to Puerto Maldonado and journey to the lodge
Transfer to the Lima Airport. Following your early morning
flight to Puerto Maldonado from Lima, you will be met at the
airport by your naturalist guide and transferred to a dugout
canoe for the trip up the Tambopata River to the lodge (L+D)
Day 03: Hike to Lake Condenado & Macaw &
Parrot Clay-lick
After an early breakfast you and your nature guide will
board the motorized canoe to the Condenado Lake. After lunch
you return to the canoe to continue the journey upstream,
a further 2 hrs, to an area deep within the Tambopata National
Reserve where the isolated MACAW & PARROT CLAY LICK
"EL CHUNCHO" is situated. This Collpa is actually
the second large clay cliffs lining the Tambopata River
in this area. Camping on the beach near the Collpa (B+L+D)
Day 04: Visit the Collpa "EL CHUNCHO"
and Tambopata Lodge
On average several dozens Macaws and smaller parrots visit
the clay-lick daily, including Scarlet, Blue and Yellow,
Red and Green, and Chestnut-fronted and Blue-headed parrots,
among others. Following a late morning hike we return down
river to the lodge for lunch. At night you will go searching
for Caimans (alligators). Night in Tambopata Lodge (B+L+D)
Day 05: Departure.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival
at the airport a host will meet and assist you in transferring
to the hotel and help you in registering, free day in Cusco
to get acclimatized. Free time for meals

Day 06: Cusco & City Tour.
Free time in the morning. In the afternoon, City Tour in
Cusco walking to the Cathedral, then you will go to the
four surrounding ruins like the Sacsayhuaman fortress, Qenqo,
Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay. Return to hotel

Day 03: Sacred Valley of the Incas
Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Inca, visit
typical indian market of Pisac, we visit the Inca Fortress
and Citadel of Ollantaytambo. Free time for dinner
Machupicchu Overnight 2 days
Day 08: Cusco – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu
You will be picked up at your Cusco hotel and transferred
to the nearby train station for the train journey to the
mysterious lost city of Machu Picchu. After your tour you
will then have free time to explore the ruins at your leisure.
You will be issued with a transfer ticket and you can catch
the bus down to the town of Aguas Calientes. Back to Cusco

Day 09: Aguas Calientes – Cusco
This morning is free for you to visit the hot springs or
visit Machu Picchu (instead of on Day 1). Alternatively
you may wish to visit the ruins twice although only one
entrance ticket and return bus ticket is included in the
tour price.

Day 10: Bus to Puno (Titicaca Lake)
Transfer to the bus station to head off to Puno. Beautiful
scenery all along the way, visit of the Raqchi and archeological
sites as well as Andahuaylillas village and its famous "Sixtine
Chapel" that was built in the middle of the 17th century.
Lunch included.
Free time for dinner
The world highest navigable lake, Titicaca 2 days
Day 11: Uros Floating Islands & Amantani Island.
We’ll pick you up from your Hotel around
7:30am then we take a two-hour motor boat excursion on the
waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique Floating "Islands"
of the Uros. We continue your motor boat trip to Amantani
Island. Overnight at the house of a local islander to enjoy
the hospitality of a typical Amantani home (Lunch and dinner
included).
Day 12: Amantani Island and Taquile Island - Puno.
Late morning, you take a motor-boat to Taquile Island, also
inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed
efficient and unique social systems, as well as fine hand
weaving techniques, down through the generations. After
lunch at a local Taquile inn, take a walk through the various
hills and archaeological sites of this 6km long island.
Back to Puno
Free time for dinner.
Day 13: Flight to Lima (Sillustani and Juliaca Airport)
Transfer to Juliaca’s airport. On the way we will
visit Chullpas de Sillustani. Flight to the Peruvian capital.
Reception at Lima airport and transfer to the hotel. Free
time for meals
Day 14: Flight at home – Departure International
Flight.
Transfer to the airport and connection for the international
return flight.
