Arequipa,
Peru's second largest city is located 1024 km (640 miles)
South of Lima. It was founded in 1540 and is one of the country's
most attractive cities. Full of Colonial churches and mansions,
including Santa Catalina, a restored Convent established in
1579 and now open to the public after being closed for 400
years, Arequipa is known as the White City because much of
it is built of ashier, the smooth white building stone cut
from volcanic lava quarries.
Puno is located at an altitude of roughly 4000 metres above
sea level, and on the shores of the Titicaca Lake, the highest
navigable lake in the world. According to legend this lake
was the cradle of Inca Civilisation for Manco Capac and Mama
Ocllo, Children of the Sun God, emerged from the cold waters
of the Lake to found the City of Cusco and to start their
civilisation.
Day 01: Reception and Arequipa City tour
Transfer from your hotel in Lima to the airport for your flight
to Arequipa. Upon arrival, our private driver will be waiting
for you for your transfer from the airport to your hotel in
Arequipa.
Arequipa "The white city" has a lot of colonial
buildings and is located at the foot of three volcanoes: Pichu
Pichu (5571m), Misti (5825m) and Chachani (6075m). The facades
are beautifully ornamented with fruit, flowers, animals and
human faces. This architectonical style is unique and characteristic
of this. After doing check in at the Hotel we will take a
City tour and visit the beautiful Convent of Santa Catalina,
Yanahuara, some colonial buildings, the Cathedral, and much
more. After that you will return to the hotel. (Overnight
Arequipa)

Day 02: Arequipa / Colca Canyon (Chivay)
After breakfast departure to Chivay: 08:00am we will go
towards the Valley of the Colca, throughout the way is observed
beautiful landscapes, Snow-covered mountains and the reserve
of vicuñas. Soon we will arrive at Chivay and we
will follow towards the thermal baths the CALERA (15º
thermus medicinal waters) located to 15minutes to the town
for which it is necessary to wear bath clothes, soon we
returned to Chivay, where we will get accommodation in the
hotel, soon in afternoon will be able to visit the town
of Chivay, the artisan market and to make some purchases,
at night, we will have supper with Creole show. (Overnight
Colca)

Day 03: Colca Canyon - Cruz Del Condor and Titicaca
Lake
At 06:00 a.m., breakfast and soon we will go towards the
Viewpoint de la Cruz of the Cóndor, strategic zone
to appreciate the Colca Canyon and flight of the Cóndores,
after we will return by the same way, we will appreciate
the hanging tombs pre-Incas, litomaquetas, viewpoint of
terraces and small towns like Pinchollo, Maca, Yanque, stopping
in each 20 town 10 or min. Lunch in Chivay. We will arrive
at Chivay at around 1 pm. After the lunch around 2:00pm
we’ll journey to Puno in our private transport, it
takes 6 hours. At 8:00pm arriving to Puno and transfer to
the Hotel (Overnight in Puno)

Day 04: Uros Floating Island & Overnight at
the Amantani Island.
We’ll pick you up from your Hotel around 7:30am then
we take a two-hour motor boat excursion on the waters of
Lake Titicaca to the unique Floating "Islands"
of the Uros. These ancient inhabitants of the lake, known
as the Water Tribe, have built their own "islands"
by periodically adding new layers of a type of reed unique
to the area called "totora". Their homes and boats
are also made from this material.. After having experienced
some of the ancient traditions of the local people, you
continue your motor boat trip to Amantani Island. This island
is inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives still governed
by their ancient traditions, whose main occupations are
the production of ceremics and textiles. The positive energy
of this island is so powerful that it is known as the "Love
Island".Box lunch. Overnight at the house of a local
islander to enjoy the hospitality of a typical Amantani
home (Lunch and dinner included).
Day 05: Amantani Island and Taquile Island - Puno
After breakfast, you have time to stroll at leisure through
the quaint streets of this colourful island. Late morning,
you take a motor-boat to Taquile Island, also inhabited
by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed efficient
and unique social systems, as well as fine hand weaving
techniques, down through the generations. It is necessary
to go up a stairway of more than 567 steps - streaks of
stone that wind their way among greenery platforms - to
arrive at the town of Taquile where we will have a break
to eat. After lunch at a local Taquile Inn, take a walk
through the various hills and archaeological sites of this
6km long island. In the afternoon, return to Puno for overnight
at selected hotel. (Breakfast and lunch included)

Day 06: Puno / Juliaca / Sillustani / Lima (Airplane)
Transfer to Juliaca’s airport. On the way we will
visit Chullpas de Sillustani. This site unveils many funeral
towers amongst which some are higher than 12m high. They
were used by the Collas, a pre-Inkas and later by the Inkas.
Flight to the Peruvian capital, reception at Lima airport
and transfer to the Hotel
