The famous "Classic Inca Trail to Machupicchu" has
become a "must do" for many travelers visiting Peru
in recent years. However, the popularity of this four days trek
passing many Inca ruins, snow-capped peaks and rivers has meant
that the trail and its archaeological sites have had to cope
with an ever increasing amount of visitor, for which they were
not prepared. The peruvian government has imposed a strict limit
on the number of people allowed on the trail at many one time.
However, the Cusco area offers a wealth of treks, many of them
along the Inca Trails to different archaeological sites or places
of natural beuty which are just as appealing as the traditional
Inca Trail, maybe more so as you will not be following 200 other
tourists along the trail. This information packet gives an overview
of some of the most popular Alternative Inca Trails, and can
be used as a rough guide; to do the treks independently you
will need to do further research.
IMPORTANT !!!
If you could not reserve to the Inca Trail to Machu
picchu 4 days don't worry we are supplying Alternative Inca
