Experiencing the beauty of one of the deepest canyon in the world:
The Colca Canyon and Valley, its gorgeous landscapes and beautiful flora and fauna will surround you. At 3000m/9848ft in depth, Colca Valley is deeper than the famous Grand Canyon of the United States. The slanted walls of this geographical wonder drain thermal waters to create some well known retreats for medicinal and relaxation purposes, such as La Calera and Yanque. It is located in the west side of Arequipa city, in a region isolated from traditional means of communication. However, it is worthwhile to visit the towns of Colca Valley, rich in history and architecture.

Day 01 – Arrival and Arequipa Sightseeing

Upon arrival reception, assistance and transfer to the hotel, free morning to get acclimatized

After lunch by your own; sightseeing tour of Arequipa City including Mirador de Carmen Alto, Mirador de Yanahuara, Plaza de Armas and the Monasterio de Santa Catalina. The main square, one of the most beautiful squares in Peru, we visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina, called "a city within a city", a Spanish city in miniature with stone streets, beautiful patios, and plaza. It is a masterpiece of colonial architecture, and houses some of the finest examples of Spanish American religious art. Since 1970 visitors have been able to stroll through the streets and cloisters that during colonial times were the refuge of female nobility who had decided to shut them away from the world and dedicate entirely to prayer.

Day 02 - Arequipa - Colca Valley

Pick up from your Hotel at 07:30; Classic Colca Canyon 2 Days, departure by land on the excursion towards the Colca Valley driving across Pampa Cañahuas at the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, habitat of herds of Vicuñas and stopping at the Mirador de los Andes, the Crater of Chucura, the Mirador de Chivay, a beautiful pre-Columbian terraces still being cultivated by native Collaguas. After 4 hours arrival to the Lodge where you’ll have the lunch, in the afternoon free time to rest, stroll by the lodge or visit Hot Spring Thermal.

Day 03 - Chivay - Condor's Cross – Arequipa

Breakfast at the Lodge; early in the morning departure to the "Condor's Cross" (3287m/10781ft) from where the great Andean bird the Condor, may be spotted flying in circles above still farmed green pre-Hispanic terraces. Enjoy the impressive panorama of the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the World. On the way back to Chivay, visit to the Mirador of Chinina, where the famous Hanging Tombs and the bridge of Sifón that joins the Town of Yanque with Coporaque. After lunch in Chivay, we return to the City of Arequipa, arriving at 17:00 transfer to the hotel

Breakfast, at required time, transfer from hotel to the airport to your departure.
